The appellation 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley is a big winner and another remarkable achievement from Keith Emerson. It’s another finesse-driven effort offering beautiful red and black fruits as well as floral, dusty earth, and spicy nuances. Medium to full-bodied on the palate, with silky tannins and a great mouthfeel, I finished my notes with “crazy good at the price.” It will keep for a solid decade, although there’s no need to delay gratification.

The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon is a plump, fruity wine to drink now and over the next decade or so. Bright floral accents, red plum fruit, spice and mocha all meld together in this attractive, juicy Cabernet. This is an especially fine vintage for the Napa Valley Cabernet. This is a total knock out for $50.
The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley is a blend of 94% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Merlot and 2% Petit Verdot. Deep garnet-purple in color, it prances out of the glass with flamboyant black cherries, cassis and mulberries scents, plus a waft of dried Provence herbs. The medium to full-bodied palate is refreshing, juicy and bright, delivering an herbal lift on the finish.
