Note di degustazione
The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Ganymede Vineyard is a big, big wine. Even so, its signature incisive tannins are pretty hard to miss. Black fruit, cloves, new leather, licorice and incense are all amplified in this potent, brooding wine. The 2013 is a powerhouse. It’s a Cabernet to drink with a juicy steak. (AG)

Dusty oak spice, resinous herbs and forest nose through the palate. Red fruit pops from the palate along with dusty cocoa and accents of caramel. Persistent fine tannins and balanced acidity. (ECB)
Some plum and chocolate character. Slightly bitter with a thin finish. Drink now.
The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate Stags Leap shows an elegant style from this southern AVA in Napa Valley. Black and red currants, licorice and earth are all present in this medium-bodied, Margaux-like wine. It’s not a blockbuster by any means, but it’s stylish, pure and well-balanced. Drink it over the next 10-15 years.
