The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Clone 4 just about jumps out of the glass with it deep, black fruits and earthy, herbal notes, and with air, more tobacco, lead pencil, and violet notes move to the front. This beauty is medium to full-bodied and has a wonderful sense of elegance, integrated tannins, and a great finish. Drink this classic, all most old-school, Cabernet over the coming 15-20 years.

The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Clone 4 is a powerhouse. Scorched earth, tobacco, chocolate and savory herb accents give the Clone 4 a distinctly old-school Napa profile. Brawny tannins add to that impression. I would cellar the 2018 for at least a few years. There is a lot of wine here, that much is clear.
The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Clone 4 is a dark, virile wine. Scorched earth, smoke, gravel, licorice, blackberry jam and dried flowers give the 2018 a distinctly brooding feel. Today, the 2018 is powerful and tightly wound, but that won't be an issue when the wine is ready to drink, some years down the line. To be sure, there is plenty of character and sinewy muscle here.
