2020 Domaine Matrot Meursault Les Perrières 1er Cru

The 2020 Meursault Les Perrières 1er Cru has a delineated bouquet, demonstrating fine mineralité and tension, the oak here well integrated (no new barrels used here.) The palate is medium-bodied with fine grip and density, a satisfying bead of acidity, but my only quibble is that it does not quite deliver the stoniness, the mineralité of a great Perrières on the finish. Still, there is impressive length and it should still age well in bottle.
