2003 Patricia Green Pinot Noir Balcombe Vineyard Block 1B

Deep, dark red. Intense violet and cinnamon-tinged bitter cherry and boysenberry aromas. Explosive flavors of dark raspberry, cherry and espresso. Finishes very long, very spicy and very fresh. This impressive concentrated pinot has excellent nerve and lift. (I also tried the extremely limited-just one barrel was made-2003 Pinot Noir Notorious ($70). It is a deep, concentrated, powerful, exceptional effort.)
