The 2015 Pinot Noir Mark Bradford Vineyard aged 18 months in 55% new French oak. Pale to medium ruby in color, it has a singular, amaro-driven nose: tree bark, lemon, blood orange peel, clove, dried flowers and Indian spices over a core of baked cranberries and blackberries, red and black currants and cherries. The palate is medium-bodied, silky and ultra spicy with firm, grainy tannins and good freshness, finishing very long and spicy.

Vivid ruby. Intensely perfumed red and blue fruit preserve, mocha, cola and licorice scents, along with hints of exotic spices and vanilla. Sweet and expansive on the palate, offering intense black raspberry, cherry cola, violet pastille and succulent herb flavors that become more energetic as the wine opens up. Smoothly plays richness off finesse and finishes impressively long and smooth, with velvety, harmonious tannins sneaking in late. (55% new French oak)
The has a very athletic feel with deep power and plenty of energy and drive. The nose is very complex, offering red cherries and subtly earthy tones. Yet, the fruit sets the tone. The palate has brawny, Pommard-clone power and delivers a bold impression, but velvety layers. Strong yet smooth, this will age for more than a decade.
