2007 Domaine Serene Chardonnay Clos du Soleil Vineyard

2007 was a warm vintage that was marked by rain during the harvest period, and the 2007 Chardonnay Clos du Soleil Vineyard is especially exotic. Golden in color, it has fully mature aromas of guava, crème caramel, cheese rind, mushroom powder and ginger. The medium-bodied palate is highly textural and deeply concentrated with umami-driven flavors. Its hedonism is tempered by mouthwatering acidity, and it has a very long, mouth-coating finish.
