Note di degustazione
Offering a notably deeper profile, the 2021 Pinot Noir Grace Vineyard pours a saturated magenta red color and is deep and penetrating in the glass, with notes of black cherry liqueur, lavender, sage, and pine sap. Leaning toward full-bodied, it’s plush, with velvety tannins, a saturating feel of pure ripeness, and clean acidity. Long on the palate, it’s a seductive wine to enjoy over the coming 15 or so years.

The 2021 Pinot Noir Grace Vineyard was matured for 16 months in 60% new oak. A touch of flinty reduction adds savoriness to its pomegranate and blueberry fruit, and it continues to gain definition and intensity as it opens in the glass. The medium-bodied palate is seamless yet powerful. Its concentrated fruit is structured by suede-textured tannins and vibrant acidity, and it has a long, detailed finish.
The 2021 Pinot Noir Grace Vineyard blends savory and sweet, as shavings of cedar, flowery underbrush and cloves give way to dried black cherries, tobacco and mint. This is pure elegance, soothingly round and velvety in feel yet lifted and energetic, with depths of ripe red berry fruits that penetrate deeply. It finishes perfumed and long, leaving a spicy sensation and edgy tannins that are perfectly offset by a bump of residual acidity—pure beauty.
