Ruby-red. Brooding aromas of kirsch, blackcurrant and cured tobacco are brightened by suggestions of iron and dried violet. Focused dark berry and cherry flavors show impressive concentration and a chewy texture and are nicely firmed by youthful tannins. The solid finish features strikingly sweet cherry and mocha flavors. This needs some time.
