2001 Whitehall Lane Cabernet Sauvignon Leonardini Family Selection Rutherford Appellation

More of a long distance runner is the 2001 Cabernet Sauvignon Leonardini Vineyard. This wine still shows plenty of oak and notes of new saddle leather intermixed with graphite and black currants in a structured, full-bodied, youthful, almost infantile stage of development.
