Note di degustazione
Bright, deep red. Sappy red cherry, raspberry and rose petal on the perfumed nose. Sappy and sweet in the mouth, with lovely lift, energy and class. Intense, pure red cherry flavor is given a tangy quality by a piquant note of pomegranate and further intensified by harmonious acidity. Has the strong extract to buffer its firm tannins. Very stylish wine and very 2004 in character.

Good full, bright red. Tight, minerally nose hints at dark fruits and underbrush. Dense, sappy and sweet, with terrific energy to the flavors of maraschino cherry and minerals. Highly concentrated and seriously structured wine; at once vibrant and ripe. Very long on the aftertaste. The yield here was just 30 hectoliters per hectare, from vines planted in 1919. A superb showing.
