Note di degustazione
Roy Estate's Soda Canyon vineyard contains a bit of Petit Verdot, and the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon includes 6% PV. It's a ripe, approachable wine with dark chocolate, loamy earth and black cherry notes, plus hints of vanilla and baking spices from spending 28 months in 100% new French oak (Taransaud). Full-bodied, soft and lush, it then finishes with just enough balancing acidity. (JC)

The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon is a big, full-bodied wine that expresses the essence of the house style. Black cherry, gravel, scorched earth, tobacco and dark spices are all dialed up, giving the 2018 tons of power and concentration. This full-throttle, heady Cabernet is brimming with intensity. It was just bottled and needs time to come around, but it is quite promising. (AG)
Showing the quality of the vintage, the 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon offers a voluptuous, rounded, full-bodied style as well as textbook notes of crème de cassis, tobacco, cedarwood, and earth. Deep, plush, and seamless on the palate, drink this gorgeous wine over the coming 15 years or more.
