Note di degustazione
Brought up all in French oak (65% new) and a blend of 93% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Cabernet Franc, and 3% Petit Verdot, the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon is a spicy, complex, medium-bodied effort offering lots of red and black plum fruits, some cedary spice, tobacco, and savory herb aromatics, firm tannins, and a nicely balanced, enjoyable style. It's going to have a decade of overall longevity.

Primarily drawn from the family's own vineyards in Calistoga, St. Helena, Stag's Leap and Atlas Peak, Rombauer's 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon is a soft, approachable effort. Marked by scents of dried herbs and tobacco, it delivers dark-fruited notes of black cherries and cassis, plus hints of earth, menthol and cedar. It's full-bodied without being heavy, instead flowing easily across the palate before ending in a gentle wave of soft tannins.
