Coming all from the Saffron Vineyard on Mount Veeder and all Cabernet, the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon VGS offers rocking levels of cassis fruit as well as lead pencil, graphite, and that tell-tale Mount Veeder resinous herb character that emerges with time in the glass. Full-bodied and beautifully concentrated on the palate, it has ripe tannins and the balance to benefit from short-term bottle age and keep for 15+.
