The 2014 Blue Line 36/24/36 (by the way, those numbers define what is a perfect “hourglass” figure) is a blend of 92% Cabernet Sauvignon and 8% Petit Verdot. This wine is opaque purple in color, with smoky blueberry and blackberry fruit, some coffee, graphite and forest floor notes. Full, rich and impressive, it should drink well young and keep for 15 or more years as well.

The 2014 Blueline Estate 36-24-36 (since renamed to just "36") is stellar. This edition is essentially See Clone Cabernet Sauvignon co-fermented with 7% Petit Verdot. Black cherry, blueberry, graphite, lavender, licorice, incense and gravel all meld together in the glass. This potent, brooding Cabernet has a ton to offer. It has aged beautifully.
