1997 Domaine Raveneau Chablis Blanchot Grand Cru

A crisp, clean and relatively austere nose with a hint of underlying sweetness reveals minerals and green Chablis fruit leading to fine and pure flavors of very good density, cut, weight and fine length. Its medium-bodied character is tightly wound, well-proportioned, and exhibits flavors reminiscent of rock dust, flint, and sun-baked stones.
