(just one and a half used barrels of this juice): Full bright. Captivating, high-toned aromas of red berries and crushed rock. Intensely flavored, sappy and seamless, conveying outstanding inner-mouth tension to the flavors of raspberry, blueberry and minerals lifted by a minty nuance. This powerfully structured wine finishes with explosive mounting length. Outstanding!

(vinified with 50% whole clusters): Good bright medium red. Like a coulis of wild black fruits on the nose, lifted by a violet element. Conveys an intense tiny-berry character and a distinctly crunchy texture to its blackberry and blueberry flavors, along with a piquant hint of hawthorn. Very dense, broad, sappy wine with outstanding rising length. For a wine with near-painful intensity, there's also something silky about this beauty. This special cuvee (one of the three barrels is new) always comes from the lowest section of the site, notes Perrot-Minot.
