The 2023 Chardonnay Wingtine is a blend of fruit from the estate and Heintz done in concrete, neutral French oak and stainless. Citrus peel, chalk, mint, white pepper, slate and dried herbs are all finely cut. Lifted floral top notes resonate on the saline-infused finish. This brisk, vibrant Chardonnay is an absolute delight.

A blend of estate and Heintz Vineyard fruit, the 2023 Chardonnay Wingtine Vineyard was matured for 14 months in used oak plus two months in stainless steel. It has open-knit aromas of yellow peach, honey, cereal and spice. The palate features highly concentrated, honeyed stone fruit flavors. It’s balanced by bright bursts of refreshing acidity and has a long, textural finish. 268 cases were made.
The 2023 Chardonnay Wingtine is a blend from the estate and the neighboring Charles Heintz ranch. Bright and focused, with terrific energy, the 2023 is a delight. Brisk acids cut through a core of citrus peel, white flowers and crushed rocks. This is a terrific introduction to the range.
