Punteggio 91/100 · Da bere 2021-2033, Lisa Perrotti-Brown MW, Wine Advocate, Feb 2021

The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate is a blend of 81.5% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Cabernet Franc, 6% Merlot and 0.5% Malbec. Deep garnet-purple in color, it leaps from the glass with vibrant scents of crushed black cherries, fresh blackcurrants and ripe plums plus suggestions of pencil shavings, cardamom, bay leaves and tilled soil. The medium to full-bodied palate is refreshing and chock-full of crunchy black fruits, supported by ripe, grainy tannins, finishing long and earthy.

The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate, which includes 12% Cabernet Franc, 6% Merlot, and a tiny splash of Malbec, has a fresh, incredibly floral character that offers ample blue fruits, violets, spring flowers, graphite, and scorched earth-like nuances. These carry to a medium-bodied Cabernet that has an elegant, straightforward, incredibly drinkable style geared for enjoying over the coming 10-12 years. It's really showing its Cabernet Franc component today.

The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon is laced with bright red-toned fruit, rose petal, cinnamon and a kiss of new French oak. Beautifully aromatic and nuanced, the 2018 captures all the best this vintage has to offer. Bright acids and mid-weight structure are the signatures in this very pretty, nuanced Cabernet Sauvignon. The 12% Franc really drives the aromatic profile. This is such a vivid wine

A pretty, plush red with lots of blackcurrant, blackberry, dark-chocolate and walnut character. It’s full-bodied and layered with lots of ripe tannins and a flavorful finish. Still needs time to come together. Juicy and layered, but not overdone. 81% cabernet sauvignon, 12% cabernet franc, 6.5% merlot and 0.5% malbec. Best after 2023.
