The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate is a blend of 81.5% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Cabernet Franc, 6% Merlot and 0.5% Malbec. Deep garnet-purple in color, it leaps from the glass with vibrant scents of crushed black cherries, fresh blackcurrants and ripe plums plus suggestions of pencil shavings, cardamom, bay leaves and tilled soil. The medium to full-bodied palate is refreshing and chock-full of crunchy black fruits, supported by ripe, grainy tannins, finishing long and earthy.

These carry to a medium-bodied Cabernet that has an elegant, straightforward, incredibly drinkable style geared for enjoying over the coming 10-12 years. It's really showing its Cabernet Franc component today.

A pretty, plush red with lots of blackcurrant, blackberry, dark-chocolate and walnut character. It’s full-bodied and layered with lots of ripe tannins and a flavorful finish. Still needs time to come together. Juicy and layered, but not overdone. 81% cabernet sauvignon, 12% cabernet franc, 6.5% merlot and 0.5% malbec. Best after 2023.
