Note di degustazione
(47 percent new oak) Vivid red. A complex bouquet suggests fresh red berries, peppery spices and dried rose, and a hint of sassafras emerges slowly. Juicy, sharply focused raspberry and bitter cherry flavors flesh out and become sweeter with air while picking up a suggestion of cola. Shows very good clarity and lift on the incisive and very persistent finish, which is shaped by harmonious, slow-mounting tannins.

The 2013 Willamette Valley Pinot Noir has a very generous bouquet with pure red cherries and wild strawberries, nicely defined and sensual. After a couple of minutes, there are rose petals and potpourri aromas lending complexity. The palate is medium-bodied with crisp acidity, well balanced with a pleasant edgy finish with tart red cherries lingering on the aftertaste. Drink over the next 5-8 years.
