The Zinfandel-dominated 2016 Red Blend Scout's Honor is a value-priced release from this team that has overflowing notes of sweet plum and blackberry fruits, spice and incense. It's plump, flamboyant, and sweetly fruited, and ideal for drinking over the coming 3-4 years. The blend is 70% Zinfandel, 14% Charbono, 9% Petite Sirah, and the rest Syrah, aged in 50% new American oak.

The 2016 Scout's Honor is blended of 70% Zinfandel, 14% Charbono, 9% Petite Sirah and 7% Syrah. Medium to deep garnet-purple colored, it offers up baked raspberries, fruitcake, dusty soil and Chinese five spice scents with touches of tobacco and potpourri. Full-bodied with a velvety texture and loads of spice-laced berry preserves flavors, it finishes long and opulent.
