2014 Dry Creek The Mariner

Blended of 69% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Petit Verdot, 9% Merlot, 8% Malbec and 2% Cabernet Franc, the 2014 The Mariner displays a deep garnet-purple color and notes of cassis, wild blueberries and dried herbs with hints of cedar box and pencil lead. Medium to full-bodied, the palate gives a good concentration of expressive cassis and gentle herb flavors with grainy tannins and a lively backbone to frame the fruit, finishing with good length.
