The 2013 Barbaresco Sorì Paitin offers notable intensity, volume and creaminess. Even so, it needs a bit time to soften. Sweet red cherry, plum and wild flower are nicely delineated throughout. The 2013 is just as delicious today as it was last year.

The 2013 Barbaresco Sorì Paitin is pure class. Dark, mysterious and inviting, the 2013 is all about allure. Dark spices, menthol, sage, rosemary and dried flowers grace the palate in a dark, sumptuous Barbaresco endowed with class and personality. The 2013 had just been bottled at the time of my visit and is likely to require at least a few years to come together, which is quite typical for these wines.
