2021 Venge Syrah Stagecoach Vineyard Block I-4

This estate also produces a brilliant Syrah that's all from the Stagecoach Vineyard on Atlas Peak, the 2021 Syrah Stagecoach Vineyard Block I-4. Lots of ripe black and blue fruits, bay leaf, bacon fat, and ground pepper give way to a medium to full-bodied Syrah with a layered, seamless profile, lots of classic Syrah gamey, herbal, peppery nuances, fine tannins, and a great finish. This was completely destemmed and brought up in 63% new French oak. It will shine for a decade.
