With its cassis and violet aromas this is very enticing cabernet with fresh juiciness and elegance on the palate, in spite of the impressive concentration. It pulls you back to the glass for more and makes it a great food-wine. Drink or hold and this has serious aging potential.

Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Limited Release Cold Springs rocks up with pronounced notions of baked plums, stewed blueberries, crème de cassis and raspberry pie with touches of black soil, oolong tea, Indian spices and garrigue. Very big and full-bodied with pedal-to-the-metal black fruit concentration in the mouth, it has a firm grainy frame and long finish featuring loads of earthy sparks.
