The 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon is gracious and medium in body, with good energy and fine balance, especially for an appellation-level wine. Sweet red cherry and floral notes are nicely lifted in this mid-weight, open-knit Cabernet. Drink it over the next few years.

Lastly, the brilliant 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Owner’s Blend is terrific stuff that just screams Cabernet! Tobacco leaf, lead pencil shavings, smoky oak, and assorted blackcurrant notes all emerge from this full-bodied, concentrated, classically styled 2015 that has building tannin, notable acidity, and a great finish. It’s already drinking nicely, but this beauty is reminiscent of a first growth from Bordeaux (Lafite?) and will have 2-3 decades of longevity.
Blended of 86% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Merlot, 4% Petit Verdot and 1% Cabernet Franc, the deep garnet-purple colored 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon has a nose of cassis, blackberries and black cherries, with cedar, Marmite toast and pencil shavings nuances. Medium to full-bodied and firm in the mouth, it has a decent core but is simple and a tad lacking in persistence.
