2010 Emilio Rojo Ribeiro

I had never published a note on the 2010 Emilio Rojo (although I first encountered the wine in late 2011), which turned out as one of the highlights among the mature vintages we tasted. 2010 is considered a great vintage, and the wine is consistent with that idea. It has notes of river stones, moss and wet granite, with breathtaking complexity and elegance.
