Composed of 60% Mourvèdre, 35% Grenache, and a small dose of Syrah, the youthful salmon-hued 2022 Ode To Lulu Rose is fragrant with wild berries, wet stone, Mediterranean herbs, and dried flowers. Medium-bodied, with fresh balance, it will certainly have a few years ahead of it. Drink 2023-2028.

Primarily made from old-vine Mourvèdre, but with small additional amounts of Grenache and Cinsaut. Closed with a screwcap. Pale baby-pink. Smells of strawberries and blueberries with a hint of citrus peel. Juicy and silky flavours of berries, citrus peel and white flowers have a fantastic brightness and faint salinity to them. There's a charming cherry note that emerges and lingers in the finish. Very delicious. VGV (AY)
