Bright ruby-red. Smoke-tinged red and blue fruit, cola and exotic spice qualities on the fragrant nose; a floral nuance emerges as the wine opens up. Juicy and energetic in the mouth, offering appealingly sweet black raspberry and boysenberry flavors and a sweetening touch of vanilla. Finishes long and spicy, with lingering berry and floral notes and sneaky tannins that lend shape and gentle grip. All Wädenswil clone; 50% new oak.

The 2016 Pinot Noir Block 7 is medium to deep ruby-purple in color with a nose of cooked black cherries, blueberries and boysenberries with earthy accents. Full-bodied, it fills the mouth with cooked black and blue fruits and earth, with firm, grainy tannins and just enough freshness, finishing spicy.
