Punteggio 91/100 · Da bere 2025-2031, Matthew Luczy, Wine Advocate, Aug 2025

Composed of press fractions from the various sites that Jamie Kutch works with, the 2023 Pinot Noir leads with a lovely nose of red and purple fruits, supplemented by floral notes that intensify with aeration. Supple and dynamic in the mouth, it finishes with an elegantly structured, nuanced finish that is equal parts savory and saline.

Punteggio 16.5/20 · Da bere 2024-2028, Jancis Robinson MW, Dec 2024

Full bottle 1,344 g. 31 barrels produced from vines planted between 1972 and 1999 at 500-1,400 ft, 3 to 8 miles from the Pacific. Mixed soil types and picked 29 September to 18 October. 50% whole cluster, spontaneous fermentation and aged in used French oak barrels. Unfined, unfiltered.  Bright, transparent blueish garnet. Pretty nose and very understated, fresh and well-balanced, fruity palate. A delightfully pretty drink already. Could easily be enjoyed without food. (JR)

The 2023 Pinot Noir (Sonoma Coast) is bold, juicy and open-knit, in other words, everything an entry-level wine should be. Succulent contours wrap around a core of red plum, cedar, cinnamon and new leather. Drink this over the next 7-10 years. This is nicely done.
