Note di degustazione
For all the glory and attention-grabbing cuvées of Pinot Noir from Williams Selyem, several wines remain under-the-radar, which is surprising given their high quality. These include their 2012 Chardonnay Allen Vineyard. Its light gold/greenish color is accompanied by a beautiful bouquet of honeyed citrus, peach, quince and white currants. Medium to full-bodied with great minerality, good acidity and a fresh, clean, lively style with no noticeable oak, it should drink well for 4-5 years. Tel. (707) 433-6425

Bright yellow. Intense, mineral-accented scents of orange zest, vanilla bean, iodine, anise and white flowers. Pliant and nicely concentrated, offering precise citrus fruit and peach pit flavors and a strong undertone of dusty minerality. Finishes clean, spicy and very long, with a lingering note of vanilla.
