Clark-Claudon's 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Eternity is a deep, inky wine. Raspberry jam, white chocolate, flowers, mint and sweet spice flesh out in a racy, opulent wine endowed with tremendous character and tons of near to medium-term appeal. A dollop of Petit Verdot adds darkness and structure to this very pretty and expressive Cabernet Sauvignon.

The 2015 Eternity from Clark-Claudon Vineyards is primarily Cabernet Sauvignon blended with a splash of Petit Verdot. It’s a deep, backward effort that offers serious richness in its blackcurrants, smoke earth, graphite, and lead pencil aromas and flavors. It has terrific mid-palate depth, a layered, ripe texture, and a great finish, yet I can’t help thinking its best days are ahead of it. Forget bottle for 4-5 years and enjoy over the following two decades.
Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Eternity is redolent of expressive cassis, black plums and clove notes plus underlying garrigue, Marmite toast and baking spice hints. Medium to full-bodied and firmly constructed, it has a great backbone of ripe, grainy tannins and plenty of freshness cutting through the dense fruit, finishing with a spicy lift.
