Note di degustazione
Deep ruby in colour, gentle and welcoming in structure and personality, with toasted spice, lift and grip from beginning to end, soft leather, fragrant mint leaf, edges of liqourice and cassis that speak of the Bordeaux varieties, but all infused with a Tuscan warmth. Niccolo Marzichi Lenzi director, 70% new oak for ageing, from a winery located close to Bolgheri. Swedish winemaker Helena Lindberg studied oenology in Bordeaux.

The Tenuta di Biserno 2021 Il Pino di Biserno is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc. The Cabernet-adjacent aromas come through nicely with dark fruit, blackberry and exotic spice. The wine is full-bodied in texture and structure, although it manages slightly more contained richness on the mid-palate. That gives Il Pino a more accessible disposition. It closes with a bright note of sweet cherry.
Strong grip, with sweet charred oak notes alongside tightly-knit dark fruits and a kick of rosemary and fresh mint. First time on the Place for this Bordeaux blend from a 40ha estate, winemaker Helena Lindberg, director Niccolo Marzichi Lenzi.
