2009 Revana Family Cabernet Sauvignon Estate

Revana's 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon presents an intriguing and highly attractive melange of plums, espresso, menthol, tobacco and sweet spices. The 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon fleshes out nicely on the mid-palate and finish with layers of expressive dark fruit. The wine's harmonious personality flows through effortlessly the textured, resonant finish. This is a strong effort from Dr. Madaiah Revana and his team. These vineyards were planted just in 1998. It will be interesting to chart the estate's growth as the vines acquire age over the coming years. The 2009 is 93% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Petit Verdot and 1% Cabernet Franc.
