2022 Bedrock Wine Co. Syrah Bien Nacido Vineyard

The 2022 Syrah Bien Nacido Vineyard comes from the core of the Z Block within the vineyard, which was planted in 1992 on one of the best aspects of the site. It pours a deep magenta hue and features an additional layer of floral complexity, with notes of black raspberries, cracked pepper, menthol, and cured meat. Medium-bodied, it has well-defined tannins, a fresh spine of acidity, and a clean finish. It’s a well-styled wine that I anticipate will flesh out a bit with some time. Drink 2025-2034.
