1998 Stony Hill Chardonnay Napa Valley

The 1998 Chardonnay does not reveal the fruit purity or intensity of its younger sibling. High acids poke through notes of lemon zest, resulting in a more compressed, medium-bodied feel in the mouth. Nevertheless, it is a lively offering that readers who prefer lemon/lime-like notes in their Chardonnays will enjoy even more than I did.
