Note di degustazione
Limpid green-hued yellow. An assertively perfumed bouquet evokes fresh pear, tangerine, iodine and white flowers, while smoky mineral and anise flourishes gain strength with aeration. Juicy, focused and penetrating in the mouth, offering intense citrus and orchard fruit flavors that slowly flesh out through the midpalate while maintaining urgency. Powerful yet lithe, showing outstanding finishing clarity, tension and resonating mineral and floral qualities. I'd love to see this complex Chardonnay, blind, in a white Burgundy lineup.

The 2014 Cuvée Anne Chardonnay comes from the top 25% of their top vineyards, the wine allowed to sit on the lees for 12 months in barrel, then racked into stainless with the fine lees. It has an appealing bouquet with scents of lime flower and citrus fruit, a little brioche developing with aeration. The palate is medium-bodied with crisp acidity, very nicely balanced with dried orange peel, pralines and quince emerging towards the finish. Give this 12 months in bottle.
