The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Oakville is a concentrated, backward effort offering lots of dark, chocolatey fruit as well as notes of tobacco and cedar, medium to full-bodied richness, ripe yet building tannins, and a great, outstanding finish. Give bottles 3-4 years in the cellar, and it should evolve for 10-15 years or more.

Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Oakville Estate prances out of the glass with gregarious scents of stewed plums, warm cassis, bay leaves and cedar chest plus suggestions of cinnamon stick and sandalwood with a waft of tobacco leaf. The medium to full-bodied palate is coated with juicy black fruits and a plush texture, offering oaky accents and an herbal lift on the finish.
