Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve Knights Valley offers up gregarious scents of kirsch, warm black plums, cassis, incense smoke and black raspberries with hints of dried mint, chocolate box, charcuterie and bay leaf. Medium to full-bodied, the palate has a firm, chewy texture and just enough fruit expression among all the savory, chargrill-laced flavors, finishing a little rustic.

The 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Knights Valley Reserve is laced with black cherry, plum, gravel, lavender and dark spice notes. Powerful and broad, but with a bit more softness than the straight Knights Valley Cabernet, the Reserve is another winner in this range from Beringer.
