Note di degustazione
More sweetness and oak presence here than in the regular Cabernet Sauvignon, but also less concentration through the mid palate and less structural focus. Even so, persistent, fine tannins and mouth-watering acidity – the two come into the palate as two separate, rather than accompanying, notes currently. Solid commercial wine. (ECB)

The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve from Knights Valley is a smaller cuvée of 81,000 cases. This wine is outstanding, with notes of graphite, white chocolate, blackcurrant, and hints of charcoal and toast. It is full-bodied, rich, fleshy and should drink beautifully for another 10+ years.
The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Knights Valley Reserve is a big wine. Black cherry, gravel, smoke, licorice and cured meats blast into the huge finish as the Reserve shows off its powerful, assertive personality. The Reserve needs at least a few years for the massive, forbidding tannins to soften, but it is promising.
