Note di degustazione
The 2028 Estate Cuvée is expressive, mixing crushed raspberries, peppery rose and nuances of tomato leaf and tobacco. It is in beautiful form, still radiant and lively in character, with sleek textures and depths of ripe red and black fruits elevated by a core of tantalizing acidity. It leaves a grippy resonance of adolescent tannin as hints of plum mix with tart cherry through the long, remarkably fresh finale.

A step down, without the density or mid-palate weight of the prior vintages, the 2008 Estate Cuvee offers a seamless, elegant feel with its blackberry, coffee bean, licorice and toasty aromas and flavors. Medium to full-bodied, lightly textured and fresh, it’s still youthful and vibrant, with sweet tannin and excellent length. While it lacks the depth of a top vintage, it’s still a beautiful wine that’s a joy to drink. It should easily evolve gracefully through 2023. Tel. (805) 227-1588; www.aventurewine.com
A beautiful wine, the 2008 Estate Cuvee, a blend of 50% Syrah, 36% Cabernet, and 14% Petit Verdot, boast classy, intense aromatics of crème de cassis, toasted bread, touches of vanilla, and some wood, with vibrant underlying floral and violet notes. Medium to full bodied on the palate with a smooth, elegant texture, sweet fruit, and a long finish, this shows class and purity. Drinking well now, it should easily evolve over the next 10 to 12 years.
