Note di degustazione
Always one of the more exotic wines in the lineup, the 2022 Four Hearts is based on 39% Cabernet Sauvignon, 36% Petite Sirah, and the balance Zinfandel, and it's aged in a touch of American oak. Rocking levels of darker, currant-like fruit as well as spicy, vanilla, and cigar notes all shine on the nose, and this puppy hits the palate with medium to full-bodied richness, a layered, rounded mouthfeel, ripe tannins, and a great finish. This singular Paso beauty will evolve for 15 years in cold cellars.

The 2022 4 Hearts Vineyard entices with a dusting of sweet spice, giving way to crushed blackberries and raspberry, complicated by a tinge of sour citrus. Elegance runs to the core here, silken and serene, with depths of ripe red and blue fruit concentration as fine-grained tannins amass toward the close. The finish is long and staining to the senses, leaving nuances of violet candies and a dusting of cocoa powder to linger. This 2022 is built for the cellar.
