2019 Merry Edwards Pinot Noir Legacy

The 2019 Legacy Pinot Noir is a one-time cuvée that represents the last wine blended by Merry Edwards with the new winemaker Heidi von der Mehden. It comes from a block in the flagship Meredith Vineyard, the very first property purchased by Merry Edwards. Matured in about 60% new French oak, it has a medium ruby-purple color and savory aromas of red and black cherries, woodsmoke, bacon fat, mint chocolate and dark spices. The full-bodied palate is powerful and concentrated with gently chewy tannins, rounded acidity and a flavorful finish.
