2012 Arnot-Roberts Cabernet Sauvignon Fellom Ranch

The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Fellom Ranch is a big, almost atypically ripe wine for Arnot-Roberts. Richly textured and voluptuous on the palate, the Fellom Ranch captures the essence of the Santa Cruz Mountains in its interplay of fruit, acidity and tannin. Hints of tobacco, cedar, dried flowers, herbs and smoke flesh out on the huge finish. Small berries in this site and the resulting high skin to juice ratio result in a Cabernet Sauvignon that will reward cellaring. Ideally the 2012 needs time for some of the baby fat to fall off.
