Punteggio 87/100 · Da bere 2018-2021, William Kelley, Wine Advocate, May 2018

Revealing attractive aromas of musky peach, white flowers and yellow orchard fruit, the 2016 Bourgogne Chardonnay is medium to full-bodied, ample and glossy, with succulent acids and an open-knit and generously fruit-driven profile. It's a blend of wine from the Côte d'Or, Côte Chalonnaise and Mâconnais that spends 12 months in barrel.

Fresh green apples, loquat, pear pastry and some sage. Medium-bodied with some pretty citrus and apple rind, fresh acidity and a fruity finish. Drink now.

Punteggio 87/100 · Da bere 2017-2020, Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, Dec 2017

The 2016 Bourgogne Blanc comes from the Côte Chalonnaise, near the village Saint-Desert on the slope of the Mont Avril. I have to say, I much prefer the nose here compared to the Bourgogne Couvent des Jacobins (under Maison Louis Jadot) with fresh yellow fruit and touches of white peach. The palate is fresh and vibrant, slightly honeyed in texture with a hint of orange zest on the finish. Just a delicious entry-level white to satisfy punters on a budget.
