1995 Gevrey Chambertin Clos St Jacques

Very good deep red. Perfumed aromas of black cherry, licorice, herbs and mint; slightly jammy ripeness. Supple and fat but juicy. Not especially high in acidity but reserved today, and hiding some of its texture. Even, fine tannins coat the entire palate. Should eventually merit a 90 rating.
