Note di degustazione
The 2013 Château de Rayne-Vigneau has a straightforward nose. It's a little earthy, with dried honey and tangerine. Eucalyptus joins the chorus line with aeration. The palate is rounded on the entry. There is ample concentration and fine acidity. A composed finish delivers surprising creaminess that lures you in without seeming excessive.

The 2013 Rayne-Vigneau possesses a slightly closed nose of spiced apples, white peaches and key lime pie with touches of beeswax and lemongrass. The palate is deliciously earthy / savory in character with a lively acid line to support and a long earth laced finish.
Tasted blind. Honeyed citrus aroma. Intense, spiced lemon on the palate. Lacks vibrancy on the palate but has a nice sour intensity to finish. (JH)
Informazioni sul produttore

The 1855 classification placed Ch. de Rayne Vigneau just behind Ch. d’Yquem – also a nearby neighbour. Its 84-hectare vineyard sits in a single block on gravel mounds, overlooking the Ciron in Sauternes, and producing impressive sweet wines.
