Note di degustazione
The 2021 Fourcas Hosten Blanc has a tightly wound bouquet with Golden Delicious and light beeswax aromas. The palate is taut and fresh on the entry with touches of grapefruit and lime, remaining quite vibrant on the finish, although it does lack a bit of breeding.

Enticing aromatics from the first moment, this has sappy and well controlled citrus and white pear flesh, coupled with tighter lime zest, lemongrass, slate and crushed rocks. Lees stirring during ageing has added weight through the mid-palate, but expect a savoury, lean wine with character. Single point upgrade.
Grass and white flowers give intensity to the aromatics, and this stands out from the lineup with a vibrant feel that makes it both crisp and approachable. Enjoyable, plenty of grip, rises through the palate. Citrus, lime zest, lemongrass, good concentration and grip. Organic. Aged partly in amphoras, partly in barrel, native yeast fermentation. 2.1ha of vines on clay-limestone soils, white vines planted in 2012.
Well-placed white pepper and rose bud on the opening moments, with beautifully nuanced citrus and lime flavours, good grip, fesh acidities, slate finish. Good.
