Punteggio 87-89/100 · Da bere 2014-2021, Robert Parker, Aug 2014

This production of 5,500 bottles, from proprietor Chantel Lebreton, is made from 100% Merlot in tiny yields, 22.5 hectoliters per hectare. Everything was harvested from this 7.5-acre vineyard on September 30 and October 1. The wine has an attractive, bluish/plum color, notes of red fruits, licorice, a touch of incense and spring flowers, and medium-bodied flavors with a superficial texture. It has sweet tannins and enough acidity for vibrancy, but not to be annoying. Drink over the next 6-7 years.

A subtle and refined red with chocolate and plum. Medium body, fine tannins and a fresh finish. Drink now.
