The 1995 Carneros Chardonnay reveals more floral, ripe tropical fruit aromas than the Napa cuvee, medium body, a softer, creamier texture, as well as crisp, underlying acidity. It should be drunk over the next several years. Mondavi's Chardonnays continue to aim for full-bodied flavor, but with increasing degrees of subtlety and elegance.
